simple.
Clickzle is a puzzle game. We collect only what we need to run it. We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share limited data with third-party services (such as advertising providers) strictly to operate and support the website.
Last updated: March 20261. Introduction & scope
At clickzle.games, accessible from https://clickzle.games, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains the types of information that is collected and recorded by clickzle.games and how we use it.
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they share and/or collect on clickzle.games. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
2. Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
3. What we collect
Without an account: We collect no personally identifiable information. Your puzzle progress, settings, and local stats are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted to our servers.
With a registered account: We collect your chosen username, email address, and puzzle result data (time, click count, score, category, puzzle number). No real name, payment information, or location data is ever requested or stored.
If you contact us directly: We may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
Automatically: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) collects standard server logs including IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser user-agent strings for security and abuse prevention. This is infrastructure-level logging by Cloudflare, not application-level tracking by Clickzle.
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our website
- Improve, personalize, and expand our website
- Understand and analyze how you use our website
- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
- Display leaderboards and rankings
- Maintain your streak and personal record across devices
- Communicate with you, including for customer service and to provide you with updates
- Detect and prevent fraud and leaderboard abuse
- Understand aggregate puzzle completion rates to improve difficulty
We may use aggregate, non-identifiable usage data to improve the game and to serve contextual advertising. We do not create our own user profiles for advertising. However, third-party advertising providers such as Google may use their own data to serve personalized ads.
5. Log files
clickzle.games follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and it's a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
6. Cookies and web beacons
Like any other website, clickzle.games uses 'cookies' through our advertising partners. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on clickzle.games, which are sent directly to users' browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.
Note that clickzle.games has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
7. Advertising
Clickzle is supported by advertising. Ads may be displayed before or after gameplay — never during active puzzle play. Advertising partners may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. We work only with partners who meet reasonable data standards.
We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google, to display advertisements on our website.
Google uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads to users based on their visits to this and other websites. These cookies enable Google to display relevant advertisements.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting: https://adssettings.google.com
Google DoubleClick DART Cookie
Google is a third-party vendor on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to clickzle.games and other sites on the internet. However, visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at the following URL – https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
You may opt out of personalised advertising through your browser's privacy settings or via industry opt-out tools such as the IAB's opt-out platform.
8. Third party privacy policies
clickzle.games's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.
Clickzle uses the following services:
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and database. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — font delivery. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Advertising partners — including Google AdSense. Additional partners may be listed here as the platform evolves.
You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers' respective websites.
9. Local storage
Clickzle uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your game settings, theme preference, and local statistics. This data never leaves your device unless you register an account and choose to sync. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for clickzle.games.
10. Registered accounts
Creating an account is entirely optional. If you do, we store your email address and username in our Cloudflare D1 database. Your email is used only for account recovery — we do not send marketing emails. You may request deletion of your account via the Contact page. Deletion removes your email and username permanently. Historical leaderboard entries are anonymised rather than removed to preserve leaderboard integrity.
11. Data retention
Puzzle results are retained indefinitely to power permanent leaderboard archives. Account credentials are retained until deletion is requested. Cloudflare infrastructure logs are retained according to Cloudflare's standard policies (typically 30 days).
12. Children's information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
clickzle.games does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
