Game 3 of 5

Hit the Target

Reaction Challenge

Targets flood the grid. A solid dot means shoot it. A hollow ring means leave it. At speed they all look the same — that’s the game. Five one-minute rounds. One shot per day.

Skill Ceiling
Better players unlock a faster game
Build a streak and the game responds — tiles spawn faster, scoring accelerates. Maintain a 20-hit streak at ×5 combo and you’re playing a completely different game to everyone else. Same 60 seconds. More tiles. More points.
How to Play
5 rounds to master
  1. Read the symbol, not the colour
Every active tile is pink. The only difference is the tiny symbol in the centre. Solid dot = shoot it. Hollow ring, bullseye, double ring, or tiny dot = leave it. The game lives in that distinction.
  2. Build your streak, build your combo
Every consecutive clean hit adds to your streak. At 5 hits you reach ×2 combo, doubling every point you score. Maximum is ×5 at a 20-hit streak. One wrong tap resets it to zero.
  3. Tap the gold star for bonus points
Gold bonus tiles appear from Round 2 and are worth 3× your current combo. They expire faster than regular tiles — the window is short. Missing a bonus never penalises your streak.
  4. Each round introduces harder decoys
Round 1 uses only rings. Round 2 adds the bullseye — a dot with a ring around it that looks exactly like a target. Round 3 adds double rings and a tiny dim dot. By Round 5 all four decoy types are in play simultaneously.
  5. Sustain your streak to unlock a faster game
At streak 5+ a new tile spawns the moment you hit one. At streak 20 the game runs almost entirely at your own reaction speed. Average players see ~50 tiles per round. Elite players push past 80. Same 60 seconds — skill determines how far you go.
  6. Wrong taps cost you points — not just your streak
Hitting a decoy tile breaks your streak and deducts points on the spot: -15 pts for the first error, -20 pts for the second consecutive, -30 pts for the third and beyond. A red deduction pops up instantly on the tile so you always know the cost.
  7. Gold Rush — the elite bonus mode
In Round 4 or 5 only, build a 50-hit streak with zero wrong taps in that round. If you manage it, GOLD RUSH activates — the grid floods with gold bonus tiles only for 8 seconds. Every tile scores 3× your current combo. It fires once per round and is exceptionally rare — only the very best players will ever trigger it.
